Well, that went by quickly!
It’s officially been one year since we shipped our first batch of hand-poured VIGYL Candles—and what a year it’s been. Despite delays, rising costs and an ongoing pandemic, we are proud of how we handled the challenges of year 01 and grateful to the partners and collaborators that supported us through it. Most importantly we are thankful to our customers who took a chance on our new brand and made VIGYL a part of their personal home fragrance collections.
When we soft-launched VIGYL, we were mainly running with samples, mock-ups, hopes and dreams. Today, many of those dreams have come true. Our first 5 candles have performed better than we could have imagined. Our beloved Saintal has sold out twice, and our Hanlan’s candle has raised over $3,000 towards supporting the Rainbow Railroad organization (so far!). In the last year, independent retailers across Canada and the US have brought VIGYL into their shops and allowed us to reach new audiences and build our very own community of VIGYL fans. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
VIGYL has connected us to so many collaborators, content creators and creatives who have taken the brand to new heights. To those individuals (you know who you are) thank you for inspiring us to keep going and for pushing us to make the brand what it is.
OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: VIGYL Available At Indigo Books and Music!
This Holiday season, VIGYL Candles will be available at Indigo Books and Music, both in-store and online (at select locations). Indigo has been a leader in curating amazingly gift-able products for Canadians since 1996, and for candle lovers specifically, become the destination for exploring new wax. We are so excited for the Indigo customer to experience VIGYL !

As we look toward 2023, we have many exciting new products in the works including a new line of candles that we cannot wait for everyone to experience. We’re officially feeling ONE, FUN and ready to RUN! & couldn't have done it without YOU!
